VALANCE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

FLUSH VALANCE
Tools needed are:
#2 phillips screwdriver
Step 1: Hold valance in desired location and measure for desired length. Step 2: Measure overall valance length and subtract desired length. Example:( 78" - 70" = 8" ) Step 3: Slide off one of the valence ends and cut off the amount from Step 2 from the center moulding, slide end back on center moulding. Step 4: Place valance in desired location, if you are satisfied with the fit mark location of the holes in the mounting brackets. Step 5: Slide ends off of center moulding and place a small amount of wood glue on each end, slide ends back on center moulding and install. PROJECTED VALANCE
Tools needed are:
Step 1: Slide side moulding pieces into finished corners and position valence over mini blind or curtain ( make sure you have clearance between the front moulding and the opened blind ) , if valance projects further than desired, remove side pieces and cut off to desired projection. Step 2: Hold valance in desired location and measure for desired length. Step 3: Measure overall valance length and subtract desired length ( example: 78"-70" = 8" ). Step 4: Slide off one of the valance ends and cut off the amount from step #3 from the center moulding, slide end back on center moulding. step 5: Place valance in desired location, if you are satisfied with the fit mark location of the holes in the mounting brackets. Step 6: Slide side moulding pieces from corners and attach them to the wall, place center moulding and corners onto side moulding pieces attached to wall, if satisfied with fit remove corners and apply wood glue, place center moulding and corners back on side moulding pieces.
